① What is carbon brush?
The carbon brushes contact the commutator and provide a stable current.
TRIS's carbon brushes are a global brand and are used in cars not only in Japan, but all over the world.
They are used in over 60 different type of motors, including starter motors and EV drive motors, and come in a wide variety of shapes and performances. We can also deliver brush holder assemblies rather than individual brushes, providing products that satisfy our customers.
② What is carbon commutator?
In motors and generators, a commutator adjusts the rotation of the rotor and the electric current within the circuit in a desired direction.
TRIS uses a uniquely formulated carbon material that is corrosion resistant in its commutator plates , and is used in various fuel pumps, including gasoline and diesel, that require high voltage and high loads.
In addition, we produce everything up to the commutator assembly in-house, and use our unique shaving press-fitting technology to manufacture environmental- friendly products that do not use solder.
③ Bearing
Bearings have a variety of uses, such as spacers for motor shafts and fixed bearings.
TRIS uses powder metallurgy to form metal powder into highly accurate dimensions and provide products that are self-lubricating by soaking oil into the pores.
We also offer carbon bearings that can be used in various fuels and coolants that require corrosion and swelling resistance. The unique formulation technology cultivated with carbon brushes achieves low wear and less sliding loss, contributing to improved fuel efficiency and electricity consumption.
